The 96 tram that will take you to one of Melbourne’s most sought after and distinguished beaches is a short 3 minute walk from our holiday apartments. The tram will take you directly to St Kilda allowing access to an array of shops, restaurants the Luna Park and of course the beach itself. Some things to do in St Kilda include visiting the botanical gardens, the St Kilda Sea baths and seeing the penguins over at breakwater. St Kilda is a day trip perfect for families. A popular bar along the famous Acland St is the Vineyard bar, and a delicious vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurant called Sister of Soul can also be found nearby. Delicious food and beautiful sites, what more could you want?


Melbourne Arts Precinct

Melbourne Arts Precinct is found across the road from Melbourne’s gorgeous and lavish Alexandra Gardens bordering the well-known Yarra River. In one area you can get an abundance of Melbourne’s renowned landmarks all within easy walking distance of one another. The National Gallery of Victoria is the first major stop on your to-be-trip through the Melbourne Art Precinct. Within the NGV you will find free and international art exhibitions in an obscure and bewitching building. There are often many activities in rooms within the NGV for families and children providing an enjoyable experience for all, art lovers or art haters! A stroll around the art precinct next to the NGV will take you through unique streets with art pieces scattered throughout. It Is an interesting and intriguing site to see, and easily accessible from Melbourne Holiday Apartments. Taking the 70 or 75 tram, which is a 2 minute walk from the apartments, will get you directly to Flinders Street Station, from which you can go on foot or tram to the precinct in no time at all.


Something fun and current to do if you are visiting between the 27th of March and 21st Of April is to go to the International Comedy festival. It can provide great laughs for the whole family and will exhibit some of the greatest comedians from all around the world. It is a wholesome and exciting experience that we highly recommend.
